Scarlet & Violet has been with us as an era in Pokémon for a year now and we all knew the day would come when we would get our first high class set in the era following on from the last swan songs of Sword & Shield (VSTAR Universe & Crown Zenith)
Well we got what we wanted, a brand new Shiny Pokémon set which for the Japanese fans was Shiny Treasure EX and in the recently release English expansion, Paldean Fates.
These two sets do not disappoint and although we’d say we still have strong feelings for older Special sets like VMAX Climax from SWSH and Tag Team All Stars GX from Sun & Moon. Shiny Treasure does exactly what it says on the tin!
We have awesome big hitters like the Charizard SAR, a remnant of the SAR from Ruler of the Black Flame and the return of Iono in the form of this awesome SAR after her ridiculous popularity appearing in Clay Burst as a chase card… It’s hard not to love this set!
